Scouting around for likely places to eat it looks like the Irish pub called the Craic will win hands down. It’s contained within a hotel-cum-backpackers place and offers Irish stews etc. as well as pints of Arthur’s best which is how a good buddy of mine always describes Guinness. Situated opposite the equivalent of the local betting shop too but only local wagering on offer on Tuesday is trotting (harness racing) and greyhounds (eight dogs in a races as opposed to six). Dave
