Alice Again

Once more, I'm not in a position to upload any photos but I'll be back in Sydney tomorrow, so will attempt some kind of update then.

I just want to say now that, despite the early mornings - getting up at 06:00, 05:15, 04:00 then 04:00 on consecutive days, I'm still smiling and have come away from the three day trip with an uplifted heart. There were a couple of small setbacks, but who could dwell on those with such fantastic scenery to view and be part of.

There was a lot of walking and some of it, particularly today, was pretty hard going but it was wonderful and our guide, Reg, was just the best.

Having said that, the hotel room shower this evening, was pretty good too!

Hot Xmas pudding

Some of Sydney's rail rolling stock was pretty creaky back in 2000 and it still looks aged.

Caught train to visit (former wife) Sandra, partner Mel and daughter Sam out in Seven Hills, passing Homebush and Lidcombe which were the stations serving the Olympic complex.

Lovely afternoon with temperatures into the high 30s. We enjoyed the sunshine, a nice salad, strawberries and cream - and Xmas pudding !

Sorry to read about very low temperatures and weather warnings back in the UK. Dave
